Mum asked me if she’d have a problem getting a taxi outside of Sendai Station when they arrive on the 3rd. You will NEVER have a problem getting a taxi!!

Today was a fireworks display celebrating the start of the Sendai Tanabata Festival. Japan has such fun fireworks! (there were hearts as well!)

Restaurant ticket machine

On the way to see the last Harry Potter movie Sophie, Amanda and I needed to grab something quick for tea so we went to this pasta restaurant near the movie theatre. This is the first time I’ve seen a ticket machine that hasn’t been in a ramen restaurant. You make your selection and pay on the machine before giving your ticket to the chefs inside. I guess it stops them having the handle money?

Purikura (photo booth) fun!

Fun night out with the girls. We had a leaving dinner for the ALTs that are going home in a few weeks. Then we hit up the arcade to do some photo booths, then ice cream and 5 hours of karaoke! Perfect way to start the weekend.
